Founded Climate Tracker in 2015 and acted as its Managing Director until 2023. Chris has been working in climate communications since his first UN climate talks in 2011. During this time, his work has been published in the Guardian, Rappler, South China Morning Post and has edited work published by Climate Tracker fellows in leading news outlets globally. He has facilitated in-person journalism training in over 20 countries and mentored hundreds of journalists through online programs. He now acts as a Global Advisor for Climate Tracker’s network, supporting projects and regional development. He also speaks Malay and Spanish.
